Movie Studio VIP Co., Ltd., led by executives Boom Promphatthan Trapsathapornnupa and Ekachai Srivichai, along with actors Singha Sitthinon, Mangkon Fabricio, and Pinky - Philippa Rinlani Deacon, participated in a blessing ceremony for the film "Sanphalee Huan" at the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine recently.

 

"Ekachai Srivichai," the film director, revealed details about "Sanphaleehuan," a Southern Thai literary work adapted for the silver screen, promising a hilarious phenomenon: "Today, I and Khun Boom Phromphat, the executive producer, brought the cast and crew from the film 'Sanphaleehuan' to participate in a blessing ceremony at the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine. This film, besides being based on a Southern Thai student reading book that every Southern Thai teenager knows well, is a genre I love and am passionate about, something I want to continue. From 'Therd,' 'Nora,' 'Mon Rak Dok Phak Bung,' 'Sida,' 'Saphan Rak Sarasin,' and 'Sanphaleehuan,' these are stories of Southern Thai culture and wisdom that I love, cherish, and want to tell in this film. I intend to present Sanphaleehuan from a new perspective, retaining the charm of wordplay and the fun, entertainment, and humor that's unlike anything you've seen before. The sets, costumes, makeup, and theatrical elements within the scenes, along with the cast, singers, and guest artists – there are over 100 people here! Get ready to laugh until you drop!" Get ready to shed tears of joy on February 5th, in all cinemas nationwide!

 

"Sanphalee Huan" is creating a new comedic phenomenon in the Thai film industry, based on a popular local literary work and supplementary reading book from Southern Thailand. This time, the godfather of Southern Thai cinema , "Ekachai," serves as both screenwriter and director.
